As a training centre for young adults with learning disability
we provide the following services within the local community

The Ironing Service
This is a drop off and collection service at the centre and is proving extremely popular to busy families.

The Gardening Service
General gardening tasks are undertaken e.g. weeding, planting, tidying and general regular maintenance.
We provide a popular service for the Roof Top Housing Association.

The Cleaning Service
This area of the business is providing a top quality cleaning service for residential customers,
extending to commercial customers and Roof Top Housing Association.
Working World is able to provide an extensive and reliable service to customers.

The Shopping Service
Available to anyone living in close proximity to working world. The service is primarily offered
to the elderly and housebound. The local pre school use the service for their weekly shopping.

The Packing Service
A local businessman uses this service to help with the packing of his sweets and confectionary.
This service has proved invaluable to help the clients with teamwork and numeracy skills.

The Administrative Service
Mail shots and administrative tasks that are time consuming for the customer can be dealt
with as a group and achieved in a shorter duration of time.

We provided a service for PATOSS – professional association of teachers of clients with specific
learning disability based at South Worcester College (formally Evesham College). The clients do all their
mail shots, which saves their staff a huge amount of time and offers the clients a beneficial training experience.

The Coffee Morning
This is provided for Roof Top Housing Association at Ferry View and Charles Close.
This involves preparing and serving beverages and organising a raffle and promoting good communication.

All clients have completed their Basic Food Hygiene qualification this year,
thanks to Christine Holder from Environmental Health at Wychavon District Council.

Each team will be working with staff, that will supervise and ensure that high standards are met at all times.

All payments received for the above services will go back to the
Clients to help fund recreational activities, holidays and social occasions.
